At a glance
iMirror is a Mac utility for mirroring and controlling an Android device. It does not require an account. The app does not send your mirrored screen, keystrokes, clipboard text, screenshots, or recordings to OAW INFOTECH LLP servers. Device communication is initiated by you over USB or your local Wi-Fi network.
In short
- No advertising or in-app analytics SDK is included in this app.
- Screen mirroring and Android input are sent between your Mac and the device you select.
- Captures are written to the location you choose on your Mac.
- Platform-Tools are downloaded only when you choose setup and accept Google's SDK terms.
Device connections and screen data
When you connect a device, iMirror uses Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to identify the selected device, deploy and launch its included Android agent, and receive the screen stream. For USB, that communication uses the attached cable. For Wi-Fi, it uses the local network connection you configure. The app does not route the screen stream through an Our Apps World cloud service.
ADB and Android may expose device identifiers or diagnostics to local tools on your Mac. iMirror does not transmit those to Our Apps World. Protect your Mac and use Wi-Fi ADB only on networks you trust.
Clipboard, screenshots, and recordings
If you use Command-V, iMirror sends the text you choose from the Mac clipboard to the currently focused Android device. That content is delivered to the device; do not paste sensitive information unless you intend to share it with that device.
Screenshots and recordings are created only when you request them. macOS asks you to choose a save location. The resulting PNG or MP4 remains in that location under your control. Recordings contain video only; iMirror does not record audio.
Optional Android Platform-Tools download
If iMirror cannot find ADB already installed on your Mac, it can offer a one-time download of Google's Android Platform-Tools. The download is initiated only after you choose to set it up and accept Google's SDK terms. The files are stored in iMirror's Application Support area on your Mac and are not uploaded by iMirror to OAW INFOTECH LLP.
The download request goes to Google's official distribution host. Google may process standard connection information under its own policies. See Google's Android SDK terms and Google's privacy policy.
Website and support
These product pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. If you contact support by email, we receive the contact details and information you choose to send, and use them to respond and provide support. Please do not send screen captures or device logs containing private information unless needed to resolve your issue.
The website host may process standard web request logs (such as IP address, browser, and request time) for security and operations. Its handling of those logs depends on the hosting configuration and provider.
Retention, security, and your choices
iMirror keeps downloaded Platform-Tools and necessary app settings locally on your Mac. You can remove saved screenshots and recordings like other files. You can remove the downloaded tools by deleting the iMirror Platform-Tools folder from your Application Support location after quitting the app.
We retain support correspondence only as needed to answer requests, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations. To ask about or request deletion of a support message, email privacy@ourappsworld.com.
Children
iMirror is a device utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's behavior or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will be published on this page.
